Signals:
:

Signals were inspired by the designer’s fascination of the radio technology. Radio waves are all around us all the time. Signals represent the designer’s dream of taking those waves and making them physical in a consumer product. Signals consists of five wall lights that each receives its own radio frequency which you can preset. The wall light lights up in conjunction with the decibel power of each signal. If one wall light is dim then it might indicate that the light is receiving a talk radio station and if a wall light is bright there might be a rock station that this wall light receives. The wall lights all have a rechargeable battery so when you take one off the wall you can hear the radio station it receives and you can take it into any other room around the house. When you return the light it recharges and the sound will stop but the light will still illuminate and continue to represent the radio station by light. This enables the user to pick a radio station before even hearing a sound by choosing a signal that light in a way that the consumer likes and could represent the user’s mood. You might be getting ready to go out on the town you should listen to the brightest signal! And in contrast if you are chilling and preparing for bed choose the dimmest signal!

As easy as that.
